The hydrotherapy pool is one of the most popular facilities available at Yawarra Community School. It has an accessible access ramp and hoist to assist with pool entry, as well as heating installed under the tiles.
Students at Yawarra have access to the hydrotherapy pool each week. Students may participate in swim, therapy or sensory sessions and benefit from the expertise of visiting specialist exercise physiologists. Access to the hydrotherapy pool helps our students meet their healthy exercise and movement goals and also has positive effects on student self-regulation and behaviour.
The pool is also used by community groups out of school hours.
