A year at our school
Yawarra Community Access
Our students have been working hard to build independence and life skills through regular community outings!
Whether it’s shopping at the supermarket, visiting the chemist, ordering from take-away shops, or exploring local stores – each outing is a chance to practice real-life skills, strengthen communication, practice turn taking and develop money recognition in meaningful ways.
These valuable experiences are helping students grow in confidence, independence, and problem-solving, while building strong connections within our local community.
